For the design of the machine, special attention was given to the protection of the environment . Snow is produced without any additives. It is made purely of frozen water which can be drained after thawing and re-used to make snow again

The refrigerating fluid in the cooling plant is  an ozone-friendy CFC-free refrigerant.

Two options are offered for the installation in regional parks :

• A sound proofing of the machine via a thick insulation significantly reduces sound pressure while the machine is in operation

• A wooden cladding option gives a mountain atmosphere
